Tallow is bovine fat slowly rendered down into a pure creamy consistency. Historically, tallow was used to make candles and soap due to its ability to burn cleanly and its solid consistency. It was also used for waterproofing leather and as a lubricant for machinery and tools.
Tallow is a superiour moisturizer
With its high levels of fatty acids, tallow has the ability to penetrate the skins surface easily and deeply to replenish lost moisture, form a barrier and keep skin hydrated.
Tallow helps combat ageing skin
Tallow is packed with triglycerides such as oleic, palmitic, stearic and linoleic acids; promoting skin cell regeneration and repair whilst forming a protective layer by locking in moisture thereby significantly improving skin barrier function in the skin.

Tallow is high in conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) which has powerful anti-inflammatory properties as well as palmitoleic acid – a fatty acid with anti-microbial properties

Grass-fed tallow produces a superior tallow that is rich in vitamins and minerals your skin needs to thrive. Grass-fed tallow contains four times as much vitamin E as grain-fed cows and is also high in niacin – a powerful antioxidant.
Quality
Our tallow is dry rendered over a long, slow heat – meaning no additional water or salt is added. This ensures the fatty acid profile has not changed and can work it’s magic on your skin! Our tallow is also triple filtered and is not deodorised or adulterated in any way in order to protect the integrity of the product and derive the maximum benefit tallow has to offer.
